Does anybody know when the new helipad on Station Road is due to open?
Hats off to the person who built it. I think it's a fabulous idea!

On the left, opposite the white cottages.
It currently has a hanger at the back which is clearly going to double as the control tower. Although, having said that ... it has remarkable similarities with Tracy Island. Perhaps various slabs roll back to reveal the launch pad for Thunderbird 1 ... or the "hanger" flips up to let Thunderbird 2 come bouncing out.
Time will tell, but I'm betting on bendy palm trees turning up soon.

You never know what community events could "take off" from there! But I seriously doubt the owner could afford the "Boys Toys" for the real thing... 
And yes bendy palm trees will probably be on the list! |
