As part of Bassetlaws Spring Clean campaign, this Saturday 3rd May, the Parish Council are asking for help from volunters to take part in a village spring clean.
Anyone wishing to give a little time to the project should meet at the village hall at 10.00hr on the 3rd May. If people could just give a couple of hours it would be greatfully appreciated. Alternatively if any one wishes to volunter but can't make that date or time, they can make alternative arrangements with myself. You can contact me via the links on the Parish Council pages.

Thank you

I saw your "Disappointed of Sutton" item in the Retford Times. I tend to agree with you, but I do think the call came at rather short notice. Giving people 2 or 3 days notice to rearrange their diaries for a Saturday morning is probably being a touch optimistic. Good effort though.

Yes accepted. Unfortunately I have struggled lately to balance work, community commitment, and personal life. It was therefore a little late in the day by the time I was actually able to confirm and commit for definite myself.
As I have stated previously though, if we had more volunteers perhaps it wouldn’t fall the same few to organise and take part in every event. Hey -Ho
