When walking through the village recently I decided to catch up with whats on in the village at the notice board on town street near the village hall.
I was amazed that the Parish council next meeting poster was advertising for September (yet we are well into October) and that the Ward Councillor surgery dates was in fact for 2007. There are plenty of things to advertise for this village - especially with the new parish plan on the go, and yet we do not utilise a very fine notice board - why is this? I would have thought that information should be updated there weekly as lots of people walk there (if only to deposit our doggy poop bags!). |

I had a look at the notice board outside the village hall yesterday (18/10) and have to say that everything appeared to be up to date (though I didn't look at the Councillor Surgery dates).
Have you thought about contacting the Clerk to the Council via the Parish council contact on this webpage? I think he is the guy that keeps it up to date - but i'm not 100% sure of that |
