I have heard in passing mention of BDC being approached with a view to obtaining some land to use as allotments for the villagers. Can anyone shed any light on this.
Thanks |

| Didn't know there was any land available within the parish? I know it has been asked for as angenda Item at Decembers Parish Council meeting (2nd Wed in December, 7.00pm) |

Oh, there are lots of readers, just not many repliers.
As far as I'm aware, if at least 10 people want allotments then the Parish Council has a duty to provide them. This may mean purchasing land within the village.
However, be prepared to be fobbed off with something in Retford. _________________ Roger |

| A petition from residents went in, and a request to THE COUNCIL (though not sure which one) is pending. I only hope that when they find a plot of land, a clear and open system is used to decide which residents stand to get a plot! Some people have been asking the Parish for over 2 years! |
