| Weight Restriction on Sutton Lane |

| With the UK
adoption of EU standards for weight restrictions,
the 17 Tonnes weight limit changed to 18 Tonnes. The
impact of this is that lorries previously restricted
by the 17 Tonnes limit are now allowed, as they fall
short of the new 18 Tonnes limit.
Some residents of the
village protested about the relaxation and
subsequent increase in large lorries through the
village.
